HealTerra Soil Enrich® Suggested Application Guide

Use HealTerra Soil Enrich® to boost your soil! This nutrient-rich blend of worm castings and compost will aerate and build the tilth of your soil while also improving its water holding capacity. It is packed full of macro and micronutrients to nourish your soil and enable you to grow amazing plants. It has a neutral pH and is great for use on any type of fruit, vegetable, or ornamental.

Vegetables and Flowers: 

Blend 1-2 inches into the top 6-8 inches of soil

House Plants:

Apply 1 inch of Soil Enrich on the surface of existing plants or blend 1 part Soil Enrich with 3 parts potting soil for new plants or transplants

Vines, Nut & Fruit Trees: 

Apply between 1-2 inches of Soil Enrich on the surface in early spring and late fall

Lawns:

Apply between 1/4 -1/2 inch of Soil Enrich on the surface as topdressing in early spring and late fall

Worm Castings Suggested Application Guide

Worm Castings provides more concentrated nutrients than other soil amendments. This microbial powerhouse can be used in multiple ways to improve your soil. The Worm Castings can be blended directly into the soil or it can be made into a Dynamo Plant Food - Worm Tea!

Use as a Topdressing: 

Apply 1-2 inches of Worm Castings to the surface of your soil and lightly water

Blended into Soil:

Blend 1-2 inches of Worm Castings into the top 6-8 inches of the soil

Potted Plants: 

Mix 20% by volume into the soil before adding plants

Raised Garden Beds:

Blend 1-2 inches of Worm Castings into the top 6-8 inches of the soil or mix 20% by volume into the soil

How to Make Worm Tea

Make Worm Tea | HealTerra

If you steep worm castings in water, you get worm tea.

It is easy:

1. You take an old sock and fill it with about 1 pound of worm castings

2. Fill a 5-gallon bucket with non-chlorinated water (rain, well water or city water left outside in the sun for 24 hours)

3. Place the sock with worm castings in your bucket of water and let it steep overnight.

4. And that's it. In the morning mix worm tea with water 1:1, and use it for watering your outdoor plants, your garden and your house plants. Your plants will be happy!!!

Compost Suggested Application Guide

Break up heavy clay soil while also adding nutrients with our compost! Compost can be blended into the soil or applied on top to dress up your beds and prevent erosion.

Use as a Topdressing: 

Apply 1-2 inches to the surface of your soil and lightly water

Blended into Soil:

Blend 1-2 inches into the top 6-8 inches of the soil to improve aeration and nutrients

Erosion Control Blanket: 

Apply 1-2 inches on top of soil to help prevent soil erosion during heavy rains

Raised Garden Beds and Pots:

Blend 1-2 inches of compost into the top 6-8 inches of the soil or mix 20% by volume into the soil
