What Feeding the Soil Looks Like in Practice
At a local farm’s pumpkin patch, we applied HealTerra worm castings to three rows while leaving neighboring rows untreated. All rows were planted, watered, and managed the same — allowing us to observe the difference soil biology can make.

Within a few weeks, pumpkin plants grown with worm castings (on the right) developed much larger leaves and denser growth — so dense that walking between treated rows became difficult. Neighboring untreated rows did not show the same level of growth.
